Do you find yourself just daydreaming?
Daydreaming about a luxury holiday, your dream house or the generous pay rise you deserve?
Do you then stop yourself in your tracks to “come back to reality”?
Why can’t your daydream become your future reality? What’s holding you back?
When I decided to become a coach, I went all in! Training, books, podcasts, downloadable resources… you name it, I did it! Late nights and weekends at my desk became the norm. I was determined to become a successful life coach within a year of learning about life coaching!
And I achieved part of that goal… I became fully qualified within 10 months! I had my office, website and social media accounts all up and running and checked off the legal requirements.
But that didn’t mean the clients came.
So, I went to networking events, posted more on social media and registered on coaching directories.
But that didn’t mean the clients came.
I was doing all of the right things on the outside, but not on the inside.
I learnt that I had been subconsciously pushing success away!
Every time I had the chance to talk to people about my programs, I would freeze up or avoid the topic as “I didn’t want to seem too pushy”
When it came to showing up online, I was never consistent or clear on my message.
I had become so familiar with the struggle of being a new business owner that I wasn’t allowing myself to succeed.
So, I stopped ticking off boxes and began to take inspired action, working on both my conscious beliefs and my subconscious beliefs.
I began sharing content on social media more consistently and was able to speak more openly about my struggles and connect with people on a deeper level.
I spent time focusing on building my confidence and getting crystal clear on my business… who I wanted to help and how I was going to help them.
It was this struggle and lesson that inspired my coaching program – where Success Mindset meets Business Models. And I haven’t looked back!
You can plan, research and share your business message with the world, but you may be limiting your success if you don’t have the right mindset.
Does this sound a little familiar to you? What could be secretly holding you back from living your dream life?
So, long story short… The comfort zone is the great enemy of courage and confidence. – Brian Tracy
